Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator that works within the deep dermis of the skin to help revitalize collagen production and restore the skin’s inner structure and volume. As the poly-L-lactic acid microparticles in Sculptra are absorbed in the skin, they help stimulate collagen growth.
As a collagen stimulator, Sculptra fillers are used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds by restoring the deep, underlying structure of the skin. The revitalization of collagen production happens gradually, helping to restore facial volume and create a more firm and youthful appearance. Suitable for increasing the volume of depressed areas, particularly to correct skin depressions, such as skin creases, wrinkles, folds, scars, and for skin aging. Sculptra is also suitable for large volume corrections of the signs of facial fat loss.
